What is unseen and the most important part of a building?

The foundation.
What is unseen and the most important part of your life?
The foundation.
Jesus concluded his message in Matthew 5-7 by comparing those who hear His words and do what He says and those who hear His words and do not do what He says. Jesus explains that His words are the foundation for life. If you do what He teaches, you have a solid foundation, like rock, for your life. If you do not do what He teaches, your foundation is unreliable, like shifting sand. He speaks of the storms of life that come and beat against both types of people. (Yes, the same storms impact both!). Those who do what Jesus teaches remain standing, while those who only hear but do not do what Jesus teaches end up crashing.

Does your foundation need some attention? Is it solid, is it cracked, is it sand?
Read through Matthew chapter 5, 6, and 7 asking God to examine your foundation, and see if there are places where you need to begin to do what Jesus is teaching you to do.
