What to Expect
On Sunday morning you can expect to enter a room filled with people of all different ages.
The worship band opens our time together with music that directs our attention to God and His son, Jesus.
Next, the pastor invites the children to join him at the front for an interactive object lesson illustrating a truth from the Bible and then the kids head off to their own time of hands on learning.
The worship time continues with the pastor presenting a message, or on the last Sunday of the month, listening to questions from the congregation and exploring answers.
Sunday morning closes with music and prayer. The kids rejoin their families and everyone talks, laughs, and gets caught up with each other.

The Pastor
Mark Young founded Surfside Church in 2004 and serves as the senior pastor. He and his wife Terri married in April 1999. They are the parents of six energetic kids.
Mark is ordained by the Church of God (Anderson, Indiana), and has a Master of Divinity degree from Asbury Theological Seminary. He enjoys fishing, boating, hiking, and camping with his family.
