Mark Young, Pastor
Mark has been in full time ministry for over 15 years and has a Master of Divinity degree
from Asbury Theological Seminary. He is the author of a lay ministry training curriculum for
youth published by the United Methodist Church and, in his younger days, founded a
Christian band in Nashville, TN.

Mark enjoys long walks with his wife, Teri; laughter; fishing; college football; cooking over an
open fire; and helping people grow in Christ.

Joe Sweat, Director of Youth Ministry
Joe has been in youth ministry for over six years. He has grown up in this community and
has a passion to connect young people with Jesus Christ! He enjoys fishing, football, and
spending family time with his wife and son.

Teri Young, Director of Children's Ministry
Teri has over 13 years of experience in Children's ministry.
She has developed children's ministries and curriculum in several Florida churches.
She has an A.A. degree focused in Child Development and is a licensed preschool teacher.
She spends her weekdays teaching a class of 4 year olds. Children are Teri's "heart of hearts"!

Shelly Wiater, Director of Community Ministry
Shelly has decades of experience ministering to those marginalized by society. She has a B.S. degree in
Education and is a full time Exceptional Ed. teacher at the high school level. Shelly is passionate about
those that society tends to forget and she creates, directs, and administrates programs that share the
love of Christ and practical assistance with these folks who are so dear to our Heavenly Father.
