What Surfside Believes-
1. We believe in God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit, as expressed in the Old and New
Testaments of the Bible.
2. We believe that God still works miracles and that these miracles come through prayer.
3. We believe in serving others, within the church family and in the community.
4. We believe the church is made up of all ages - children, adolescents, young adults, and
adults and include all in our ministries and worship.
5. We believe that the church is a place where non-Christians can come to experience
God's love, and where Christians continue to grow in that love.

What can you expect at Surfside?

We respect you as a person and are glad you are with us. We share our faith; we don't
force it.
2. Acceptance
We accept you for you. We are not perfect and we don't expect you to be. But we are in
the process of being shaped into the image of Christ.
3. Freedom
We offer you freedom to be yourself. Dress comfortably. Relax in worship.
4. Caring
We try to help each other in anyway we can. We stumble sometimes, but our goal is to be
a safe place to share our lives with one another. This includes the joys and the sorrows,
the triumphs and the shortcomings.
We laugh and cry together.
5. Fun
We like to laugh and play. God gave us the gifts of humor, laughter, and play. We try to
enjoy these gifts as often as possible!
We are voluntarily connected with the Church of God (Anderson, IN) movement. We seek
to reach through denominational divisions to share Jesus Christ with the community.

we will not loose the small church feel and connection that
